Global Mindshift: Some Psychological Promises & Challenges of Life in Interesting Times

Coherent societies share a common story about who they are, how things should be organized, what is valued and what is to be resisted. All cultures - with and without awareness - create civic routines, educational practices and standards, boundaries and norms, that simultaneously express this psychology and maintain and perpetuate it. When contexts change, societies adapt or die. Today's rapidly changing world is outpacing our traditional social and educational responses. We can either be proactive to meet the constant modifications of the world as it exists today, or fall by the wayside. Dr. O'Hara offers some provocative ideas to help meet the challenge.
